It was quiet when we went but a peaceful environment. The kid's 'dinosaur' (chicken) nuggets were way better quality than McDonald's nuggets. Hot drinks. Great. Nice end to a nice visit to Herbert Museum. Knowing they put the profits back into the free-entry Museum is also good given how few 'free' cultural places are left to visit for people with really tight budgets. Recommend it and the Museum.

Lovely cafe, very clean. Food was very good, sandwiches are very tasty, lovely fresh bread and great to have a choice of white or brown bread with each filling. Kids selection is good too. Coffee was delicious. Can get busy at peak times. When we went you could use your receipt for a discount in the gift shop next door (Although noone told us so we didn't realise until our second visit where we noticed a small poster)

I must admit the sausage roll was a bit over cooked as my husband couldn't eat it but that was dealt with by the staff. The jacket potatoes were very nice and good value. All other food was edible and yummy. Worth a visit before going round the gallery.

Visited as a large group with work colleagues and our order was dealt with quickly despite it being a busy lunch time. Great coffee, which was very welcome on a freezing cold day. Good choice of meals, including hot dishes.
